On chapter 5 of Mindframe, we meet Grim Boliver, the second in command of a group known as a Fifth House. They control all black market transactions for the America under the watchful eye of WorldGov. Grim and his niece and nephew visit a shopping plaza meant only for high ranking members of the establishment. As he collects an important piece of art from a shopkeeper named Penny, he is reminded of family. But nothing with this family is as it seems. Grim knows his niece is manipulating him to meet him in the plaza, but the reason why is darker than he feared, and it shines a light on the worst parts of his family and his government.
